I am a humanities graduate, educator, writer, entrepreneur, and advanced practical user of generative AI. My background spans language instruction, curriculum development, business training, real estate, and over three decades of client-facing work that required clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to explain complex ideas to real people.
I came to generative AI not through a computer-science background, but through the same path many professionals will take: curiosity, practical experimentation, and a recognition that this technology intersects directly with the skills I have spent a career developing — writing, evaluation, research, teaching, and human judgment.
GenerativeAIAssociate.com exists because I could not find the resource I needed when I started. Most AI career content assumes either a technical background or a willingness to absorb hype. This site is for people who want neither — just honest, practical guidance on what the work actually involves and how to prepare for it.
Why This Site Exists
The Generative AI Associate title is emerging across industries — and most of the people best suited for this work do not yet know it exists, or assume they are not qualified because they lack a technical background. This site is my attempt to change that. Every article here is written from the perspective of someone who is learning this field in real time, applying it practically, and trying to explain it honestly to people who are doing the same.
